Jose C. Bremauntz
Jose C. Bremauntz has 22 years experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and investment banking as well as other activities such as strategic planning, financial planning and business valuations both in the United States and in Mexico.
Mr. Bremauntz’s executive experience has been in the financial and banking sector in Mexico City where he has held various positions as Vice-President in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Banco Nacional de Mexico (Banamex), Banco Serfin (currently known as Banco Santander) and Grupo Financiero Interacciones and Vice-President in the Financial Engineering group at Grupo Financiero Inverlat (currently known as Scotia Bank de Mexico). Prior to joining Sherwood Partners, LLC, Mr. Bremauntz was Associate Manager in the Corporate Finance group at Deloitte Touche in Mexico City where he was the lead executive for business valuation services and, also participated in several fairness opinions for multi-national companies. The business valuations performed were prepared for Mexican and US SEC, IRS, M&A and legal dispute purposes.
Mr. Bremauntz has a degree in public accounting and finance from the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico and an MBA from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
