Nicolas B. Hernandez
Nicolas B. Hernandez has more than seven years of accounting, finance, and business consulting experience in industries ranging from technology, health care, property management, food production and distribution, telecommunication, biopharmaceutical, and agriculture.
Prior to joining Sherwood, Mr. Hernandez was the Accounting Manager for a leading wood distribution and property management company. In this role, he was responsible for executing the full accounting cycle as well as preparing Financial Statements for multiple branches of the company. He also ensured to enforce compliance regulations with the company’s financial policies and accounting practices. In addition to his responsibilities, he provided management with analytical insight and served as a key leader for the preparation of quarterly/annually forecasts and budget planning. He also took charge in managing the operations of several commercial buildings and multiple residential properties within the northern California region.
Mr. Hernandez’s background also includes extensive experience in the healthcare industry. His experience further extends to the collaboration in financial audits, transactional due diligence, monetization of intellectual property, forensic accounting, negotiation of contracts, cash management, tax filings, and overseeing budgets.
Mr. Hernandez holds a M.B.A. from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance & Management from Ave Maria University in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
