Susan M. Boykas
Susan M. Boykas has over 25 years’ experience serving the retail, technology and manufacturing industries vast experience in turnaround and restructuring in both operations & finance.
Ms. Boykas has served extensively in both advisory and management roles. As an advisor she has worked with management and Board of Directors to provide strategies of reorganization and revitalization. As a member of senior management teams, she provided strategic guidance and execution which led to several successful turnarounds.
Prior to joining Sherwood, Ms Boykas served in a national restructuring firm where she led the advisory team selected to manage a large multi-million jeweler in bankruptcy and liquidation.
Ms. Boykas also served in turnaround senior management roles of several companies which included a $500 million consumer products company, a $130 million regional retailer with 70 stores and a $350 million retailer with 220 stores. Ms. Boykas was integral in developing a plan for improving key operating metrics, stabilizing operations.
Prior to that the above, Ms. Boykas founded Boykas Associates, Inc., a consulting practice serving both public and private companies. She began her career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers.
Ms. Boykas has a BS in accounting from Fordham University and is a CPA. Ms. Boykas is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New Jersey Institute of CPAs. She has also completed the Certified Insolvency and Restructuring course.
